The Patriots announced an addition to their roster on Monday afternoon. They have signed defensive tackle Casey Rogers. There was no corresponding move needed because New England had an open spot after releasing linebacker Otis Reese late last week. Rogers played in two games for the Giants in 2024 and then joined the Bills last spring after being waived. He failed to make it through Buffalo’s final cut and returned to the Giants practice squad. He played in one game and then moved on to play for the DC Defenders in the UFL this spring. Rogers had 21 tackles, two tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks during his time with the Defenders.
