A DAD killed by a falling sign at a Christian festival has been named and pictured for the first time. Though Pastor Robert’s earthly journey has come to an end, his legacy of faith, love, service, and the lives he touched will never be forgotten. The three-day event, founded in 2009, is the UK’s biggest Christian music festival with all 40,000 tickets sold. The festival, at Wiston Park, began on Friday and was due to continue until Sunday, but a decision was made by organisers to cancel the remainder of the event after the incident. Dame Sarah Mullally said: “I pray for his family, friends and loved ones as they grieve. I pray for those receiving treatment, and the healthcare workers looking after them. “And I pray too for the other festival goers, staff and event organisers as they come to terms with these tragic events.” Det Chief Supt Richard McDonagh, of Sussex Police, previously said: “This is a tragic incident and our thoughts go out to the man’s family and friends at this incredibly difficult time. “I recognise the immense distress this will have caused people at the festival, and we are working with a number of partners as we seek to establish exactly what happened. “We’re urging anyone with information to come forward.” You can donate to Robert’s gofundme here.
