The Gatwick Express account posted on X: “A train is on fire between Balham and London Victoria. “Some lines are closed between these stations until further notice. “Gatwick Express services will still run but may be delayed due to congestion. “Please check your train before you travel and allow extra time to reach your destination.” Southern Rail also warned of disruption until 3pm. “Both slow lines between Balham and Clapham Junction are blocked until further notice.
