Paranoid Putin’s goons arrest pro-regime propagandist in his underwear after he turned on tyrant & forecast Kremlin coup

A PRO-KREMLIN propagandist who turned on Vladimir Putin and forecast a coup to oust him was dramatically arrested in Russia today. Paranoid Putin’s goons detained Ilya Remeslo, 42, in his underwear at his St Petersburg home just hours after he stepped up his public criticism of the Kremlin dictator. Ilya claimed the spiralling energy crisis caused by Ukrainian drones smashing oil refineries and depots in the heart of Russia was speeding up Putin’s demise. Fuel shortages have sparked chaos across the country with queues triggering petrol pump fights and brawling. And Ilya said unrest within the Russian ruling circle was “intensifying”. “Everything is moving toward a situation where even a small push could lead to Putin losing power,” he said. “I am able to say that Putin will be led away by the arms this autumn.” Ilya is rumoured to be speaking with the support of elements of the Russian security services. The former Kremlin supporter could face up to ten years in jail for “spreading false information about the armed forces” – a catch-all crime that has been ruthlessly used against foes of Putin. His lawyer Sergei Badamshin told Russian news agency TASS that Ilya’s home had been searched. “A decision on pretrial detention for Remeslo will be made soon,” the lawyer said. Ilya positioned himself as a loyalist who had turned against Putin and was ready to lead the opposition to build a new Russia. “I am the person who knows how to fight Vladimir Putin, who knows the system’s weaknesses, how to interact with it, and how to lure people out of it”: he previously declared. Putin’s inner circle “secretly hate” him and the dictator will be toppled in a “palace coup”. “It will be something very quiet. You know, like what happened in 1953 [when Stalin died and was replaced by Nikita Khrushchev]. ILYA Remeslo is a 42-year-old pro-Kremlin lawyer and firm supporter of the Russian regime. He broke ranks earlier this week by calling out Vladimir Putin and demanding that the tyrant be overthrown. The popular Z-blogger was previously involved in tearing down Alexei Navalny’s opposition campaign against Putin. Remeslo even appeared in court proceedings against Navalny before the opposition figure was poisoned and died. Remeslo lives in St Petersburg where he studied law in 2005. He was a member of Russia’s Kremlin-backed Public Chamber , meaning he was working for Moscow. The influencer has been accused of spewing pro-Kremlin propaganda and denouncing opponents of the regime. He has consistently peddled pro-Putin lines relating to the war in Ukraine. “We’ll wake up in a different country,” he said. An extraordinary surge of pessimism about Russia’s war in Ukraine has engulfed Putin’s staunch allies. And as rumours of Putin’s downfall continue to swirl, the Kremlin leader has fled into hiding – reportedly cowering in bunkers for weeks at a time. Earlier this year Ilya was sent – in Soviet-style – to a psychiatric clinic after his scathing criticisms of Putin. He was quickly released but continued his campaign against the tyrant. “Putin is not a legitimate president,” he said. “Vladimir Putin must resign and be prosecuted as a war criminal and a thief.” Another Putin foe Boris Nadezhin, 63, was this week accused of “extremism,” a tactic to stop him standing in parliamentary elections in September. He was also banned from leaving Russia. Comment now
