Papier’s Advent calendar just launched with a new addition — they’re both going to sell out fast

While these calendars are typically meant to count down the days until Christmas, people often buy them early because they almost always sell out quickly. Papier’s ever-popular Advent calendar is no exception — last year it had a waitlist with more than 10,000 people on it. Today, the stationery brand released two new Advent calendars for the season. One is a traditional 24-day Advent calendar and the other is a 12-day Advent calendar for all the people who sometimes forget to start counting at the top of December. The paper of the cards and journals have fun prints and patterns, like stripes, plaid and checkers that are both festive but also signature the brand. The 24-door calendar resembles a jewelry box and has three compartments, each with small golden knobs. The drawers open up to unveil several cards (many of which are perfect for the holidays and for writing thank you notes) and more. The 12-door calendar looks like a small cardboard house with small “doorknobs” on the outside. On the inside, there are multiple levels of Papier goods. According to founder and CEO Taymoor Atighetchi, the 12-door has been “the most requested addition to the range.” Both Advent calendars are limited-edition and feature an entirely new design for 2026.
