Palestinian committee will be 'sole entity' managing Hamas' weapons, movement official says

The Palestinian technocratic committee established by the Board of Peace to govern Gaza will oversee the process of managing and storing Hamas' weapons, a senior Hamas official told AFP. "The National Committee for Administration of Gaza (NCAG) shall manage and execute the cataloguing and storage of weapons in accordance with the agreed timetable," the official said, adding that the committee will be "the sole entity authorised to retain, store, or control weapons in Gaza". According to AFP, members of the movement also stressed that they expected mediators and the Board of Peace to ensure that Israel sticks to the deal.
