In a joint statement issued by the Makkah Alliance, Pakistan and Turkey announced that they would provide military support to Saudi Arabia amid its war with the Houthis, following the emergency meeting of the Political Strategy and Defence Committee of the alliance. "The Committee decided to move immediately to practical implementation of collective defence commitments and taking the necessary measures to provide the agreed military forces and capabilities and ensure their rapid deployment in Saudi Arabia," the statement shared by the Pakistani, Turkish, and Saudi foreign ministries said. "The Parties affirmed that the security of each Party is an integral part of the collective security of the three countries," the statement added.
