Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness to Debut at Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights

An Ozzy Osbourne-themed experience titled “Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness” will debut at Universal Studios parks as part of the annual Halloween Horror Nights events in Florida and California. The Ozzy Osbourne-themed haunted houses and other attractions are currently planned to open on August 28th in Orlando, Florida, and September 3rd in Hollywood, California, with scenes depicting iconic imagery from albums such as Blizzard of Ozz, Diary of a Madman, Bark at the Moon, No More Tears, and Ordinary Man. Get Ozzy Osbourne Albums on Vinyl Sharon and Jack Osbourne issued a joint statement about the project, saying, “Ozzy never stopped pushing boundaries, and he loved anything that gave fans a new way to experience his music and the worlds he created. Halloween Horror Nights has done an incredible job bringing that spirit to life. Walking through these haunted houses, you’ll recognize so many moments inspired by his music and imagination. It’s a wonderful tribute to Ozzy, and we hope fans have as much fun experiencing it as he would have had seeing it come together.” John Murdy, executive producer of Halloween Horror Nights, added, “Ozzy Osbourne didn’t just help define heavy metal — he created a cultural phenomenon that has influenced generations of music, art and horror. This is but one of many planned projects teased by Sharon Osbourne in the wake of Ozzy’s passing, which was commemorated on its one-year anniversary last week with posts from each of his former Black Sabbath bandmates.
