Gautham said that people can raise objections if they have information that any of the selected beneficiaries violated eligibility criteria. The option to submit objections will be open till September 4.Some of the eligibility criteria includes an applicant should not have similar housing benefit earlier; applicant or family should not own a house, flat or plot within the ORR or Core Urban Region (CURE) area, should be a resident of the constituency.Currently, the Housing Board’s officials are conducting field verification of the eligibility criteria of the beneficiaries. Mr. Gautham said that provisional allotment letters would be issued to the beneficiaries, after the verification, in a week’s time.
