An OpenAI spokesperson did not respond to a question about the nature of the information sharing.OpenAI has faced pressure both internally and externally over its handling of AI-related safety issues, following its disclosure that rogue agents hacked into Hugging Face after breaching a secure testing environment that was not supposed to allow for internet access.The company recently said it supported independent assessments of safety cases, an idea that has gained increasing support across the industry."OpenAI is committed to supporting independent assessments with deep levels of access across training, evaluation, and deployment," the company said in a post last month.
