Open AI’s Sam Altman on Using AI to Help Alzheimer’s Research

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman sits down for an exclusive interview with TODAY’s Maria Shriver to announce that the OpenAI Foundation is pledging $100 million to Alzheimer’s research and shares how artificial intelligence can fast-track better diagnostics treatments and even a cure. Altman also addresses concerns over whether he can be trusted with the reigns of AI, saying, “I don’t think this much power should be in the hands of one person nor do I think it is.”
