Only 10 blue-chip prospects remain uncommitted in 2027 cycle

The summer is now the heart of the recruiting cycle. Prospects are eager to lock up their spots in a class and coaching staffs want to lock down pledges as best they can. That’s led to a majority of the meat coming off the bone during official visits and the offseason. While some will decommit and some will flip, there won’t be many recruitments that go untouched into the fall. Of the 400 blue-chip prospects in the 2027 cycle — according to the Rivals Industry Ranking — 390 are now committed, as of July 17.
