The Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) will begin accepting online applications for recruitment to 7,437 vacancies in the Police, Special Protection Force (SPF), Fire Services and Prisons Departments from August 19. The application window will remain open until 5 p.m. on September 9.Applications to be accepted only through websiteThe recruitment board, which issued four notifications on July 29 for the vacancies, said applications will be accepted only through its official website. The online application portal will open at 8 a.m. on August 19 and applications submitted through any other mode will be summarily rejected.One-time feeCandidates applying for Sub Inspector-level posts in the Police, SPF, Fire Services and Prisons Departments will have to pay a one-time fee of ₹750 if they belong to the SC or ST categories in Telangana and ₹1,500 for all other candidates. The fee for Police Constable, Fire Fighter and Prison Warder posts has been fixed at ₹600 for Telangana SC/ST candidates and ₹1,200 for all others. Similar charges will apply for technical posts, including Assistant Sub Inspector (Fingerprint Bureau), Police Constable (Driver) and Police Constable (Mechanic).The one-time fee covers the entire recruitment process, including application processing, preliminary written examination, physical measurement and efficiency tests, final written examination, certificate verification, biometric authentication and result processing. Technical, trade and driving tests will be conducted for eligible posts.The board said candidates applying under more than one common procedure regimen will undergo only one Physical Measurement Test and Physical Efficiency Test, with the results being considered for all the posts applied for. Such candidates will also receive a concession of ₹100 per additional regimen in the case of OC and BC candidates and ₹50 for SC and ST candidates.Download Aadhaar app before application submissionThe TSLPRB has advised candidates to download the Aadhaar app before submitting Part I of the online application to complete Aadhaar-based face authentication. Applicants have also been asked to retain a printed copy of the submitted application for future reference and use the helpline numbers available on the board’s website for any assistance.
