One UI 9 brings the Galaxy Z Fold 8’s best new features to the Galaxy S26 series

Samsung has finally ended its One UI 9 beta program and released the stable update for the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra to all users. The update is rolling out over the course of September 16th, so keep checking your device if it hasn't arrived yet. Along with the public release of its latest OS update, Samsung has pushed out a One UI 9 beta program for the Galaxy A25, the Galaxy A35, the Galaxy A36, the Galaxy A37, the Galaxy A55, the Galaxy A56, the Galaxy A57, the Galaxy S23, the Galaxy S24, the Galaxy S25, the Galaxy Z Flip 6, the Galaxy Z Flip 7, the Galaxy Z Fold 6, and the Galaxy Z Fold 7. After a few weeks of testing, the public version of One UI 9.0 will likely hit these devices as well. One UI 9 includes user-interface improvements, new Game Booster options, and more Quick Panel customization The update also features My FanCam One UI 9 is based on Android 17 and includes several notable features and UI design improvements, alongside more Quick Panel customization, a new Tape feature in Samsung Notes, and additional Game Booster options. Additionally, Samsung's desktop DeX platform now includes better multi-monitor support and windowed options. Other features that were first released alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Flip 8, and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra (all three devices dropped with One UI 9 already installed), including the creator-focused My FanCam, which locks a video onto its subject, and customizable Now Brief cards, are now available in the Galaxy S26 line thanks to One UI 9. Samsung released seven beta versions of One UI 9.0 ahead of the final public release that's dropping now.
