Amidst the release of specials like LEGO One Piece and Heroines and upcoming releases like Season 3 of the Netflix live-action series, the Wit Studio remake, there has never been a more exciting time to be a fan of the series. The franchise is currently bigger than ever, and it's only going to expand even more from here on out, as One Piece just announced not just one but two movies. One Piece Day 2026 brought with it confirmation of two upcoming One Piece movies earlier today: One Piece Film God Valley, which is set for Summer 2027, and One Piece Film Baad, which is expected in 2029. A teaser for the two films was also unveiled at the anniversary celebration, which is now available on One Piece's official YouTube channel. As the title of the former implies, One Piece Film God Valley will be adapting the God Valley flashback from One PIece's Elbaph Arc, making it the first canon movie in the entire history of the franchise. Not much has been revealed about One Piece Film Baad beyond its title and release year, but it appears as though it will be a non-canon movie like the rest of One Piece's theatrical releases so far.
