The Celebrity Traitors season 2 finale lands this week (Picture: BBC/Studio Lambert/Euan Cherry) There’s one Celebrity Traitors star who’s talking so much sense at the roundtable, who could help the Faithfuls root out the Traitors… but they’re guttingly being ignored. If this continues, it could end up with the Faithfuls losing the game to the three cunning Traitors, as this week’s season 2 finale approaches. Last week, the most recent episode of the BBC series ended with a nail-biting cliffhanger, with the players caught in a deadlock as two people received the same number of votes to be banished. A second vote had to take place so that the celebrities could select either actress Sharon Rooney or comedian Joanne McNally to be exiled from the castle. Before the votes took place, the players took turns sharing their views at the roundtable as usual, and one person who was speaking a lot of sense was Little Mix singer Leigh-Anne Pinnock. Leigh-Anne has gone largely under the radar, except on a few occasions when she’s been wrongly suspected as a Traitor, like when Joanne called her out for applying makeup late at night, Ross Kemp thought she murdered him in plain sight, and Michael Sheen questioned her for harmlessly teaching Miranda Hart a dance. Leigh-Anne is talking so much sense – so why is no one listening to her? (Picture: BBC/Studio Lambert/Euan Cherry) Thankfully Leigh-Anne managed to elude murder or banishment, and at the roundtable, she came forward with her wisdom concerning how the Faithfuls should approach the game. Do you think we need to look at who we think might have been recruited after that loss?’ she asked. ‘Did they recruit someone that’s going to fill Hannah’s boots or…’ At this point, James Blunt piped up, interjecting to say: ‘Absolutely. So has anyone’s character or temperament changed, over the last… since then, I suppose, is the question.’ However, they shouldn’t only be looking out for changes in behaviour. After all, a smart Traitor would be able to cover their tracks and play the part of a Faithful convincingly. Leigh-Anne continued: ‘But also is it like, who do we think would fill those boots as well? Are they needing a leader? These are the kind of things we need to…’ Traitor James Acaster then asked who she suspects, and she gave an intriguing response. I think it could either be someone that does lead the table and is very influential at the table. I think that would be the obvious replacement, but then they might want someone who is slightly more under the radar, knows the game really well, hasn’t got any suspicions.’ Now, if the Faithfuls took a moment to let Leigh-Anne’s words sink in, they might have started to work better as a team to suss out who the Traitors are. People who don’t have any suspicions… who could they possibly be? Oh, maybe the three players who were deemed the most trustworthy during the last mission: Maya Jama, James A and King Kenny. Aka, the three Traitors. Who do you think will win – the Faithfuls or the Traitors? Anyone who believes anything with absolute certainty in this game is often playing a losing battle, which could result in them having the wool pulled over their eyes. I know it’s easy to say that as someone who’s aware of who the Traitors are while watching the show, but we’ve seen this same thing happen time and time again. So how did the other Faithfuls react to Leigh-Anne’s assessment? Well, Sebastian ‘Bash’ Croft, who I’ve deemed a very shrewd player so far, decided to instead ask Michael why he hasn’t been recruited or murdered. People keep questioning Michael Sheen, but he’d be too obvious a target for the Traitors (Picture: BBC/Studio Lambert/Euan Cherry) I understand why the Faithfuls are questioning why Michael hasn’t been a target, but have they not also thought that murdering or recruiting him would be too obvious a move? Back to Leigh-Anne. On her TikTok, she posted a video of herself with writing on top that read: ‘Realising I’m actually a really strong faithful but everyone thinks I’m a traitor.’ In her caption, she added: ‘So underestimated it hurts,’ and several of her fans agreed. ‘You were clocking everyone at the table and nobody listened!!!’ TikTok user Maggie Mae commented. ‘You have no idea the way I scream leave her alone 😭😅,’ Carolina said while FernRandall3 wrote: ‘They just grasping at straws at this point (no pun intended 😂).’ Xanniderryx declared that Leigh-Anne is ‘putting out the best theories’, while Riley declared her ‘the best faithful in that castle’. If the Faithfuls don’t take Leigh-Anne’s thinking into account as soon as possible, there’s a strong chance the prize money is going to go straight into the Traitors’ pockets.
