Omani Committee for International Humanitarian Law holds second meeting in 2026

Muscat: The Omani Committee for International Humanitarian Law on Tuesday held its second meeting of the year (2026) under the auspices of Saleh bin Yahya Al Maskari, Chairman Head of the Committee, Head of the Global Affairs Department at the Foreign Ministry. The meeting saw the participation of its members who represent different government departments.The Committee discussed key developments related to international humanitarian law, ways to support the implementation of statute’s provisions and means of raising public awareness of its principles within the Sultanate of Oman.
