Olympic legend signs up for I’m A Celeb Wild Frontier spin-off a year after huge ITV show he starred in was axed

MANY of us thought he had skated off ITV for good when Dancing On Ice was frozen last year. But I can reveal Olympic legend Sir Christopher Dean is still part of the channel’s family of talent. Get Me Out Of Here! spin-off, The Wild Frontier. He will take part in the show alongside skating partner Karen Barber. A source said: “ITV bosses had a meeting and decided to move him to the new doubles show. “It’s a huge coup for ITV, as they now get both Christopher and Karen. Now Dancing On Ice is over and with his 70th birthday approaching, Christopher wanted to find something that would challenge him.” The Wild Frontier will be hosted by Ant & Dec and set in Canada. The Sun revealed earlier this month that football’s Rio Ferdinand and wife Kate had become the first couple to sign up for the show. They were quickly followed by Tyson Fury‘s daughter Venezuela and her boxer husband Noah Price. The show will see celebs compete with a relative, loved one, or even fellow stars.
