OLYMPIC gold medal winning skeleton race Tabby Stoecker has been revealed as a new Gladiator as series four kicks off filming. The cast and crew gathered in Sheffield this weekend to begin shooting for the fourth series which will air on BBC One in 2027. A source exclusively revealed to The Sun: “Tabby has already been filming in Sheffield with the cast – and got a warm welcome from fans.” The Sun have contacted Tabby’s agent for a comment and BBC declined to comment. Eagle-eyed fans have taken to Reddit to share their thoughts on Tabby’s Gladiator name which is reportedly ‘Gold Star’. One person penned: “Gold Star – what an absolutely terrible name!” Another BBC One viewer echoed: “Lmao it really is. Tom said: “This is a dream opportunity and I’m incredibly proud to become a Gladiator. “I’ve spent my life pushing myself to see what I can achieve and joining this incredible show is the next challenge. “I’m excited to bring my strength, determination and personality to the arena but, most importantly, I want people watching to feel inspired to believe in themselves and take on their own challenges.” The Sun exclusively revealed yesterday that fitness influencer and weightlifting champ Florence Wong has also joined the show as Huntress. The three new arrivals come as Giant, Bionic and Athena are out of the next series. Giant was axed earlier this year after he claimed the BBC made him choose between his job or his relationship with his now-ex girlfriend and OnlyFans model Taylor Ryan. Bionic, whose real name is Matty Campbell, was injured on an episode that aired in March. The athlete hurt his arm during Hang Tough as he tried tacking contender Finn. Athena – real name Karenjeet Kaur Bains suffered a severe knee injury during the early stages of filming for season three. This included a complete ACL tear, meniscus tear, LCL and MCL tears and a bone fracture. She stepped away from the show to undergo surgery and intensive rehabilitation but appears to be doing much better as per her social media posts. Comment now
