OLYMPIAN Tabby Stoecker has broken her silence after signing up to Strictly Come Dancing – and has called it her ‘childhood dream’ to take part. Over the weekend, The Sun exclusively revealed this year’s star-studded line-up, which includes the 26-year-old skeleton racer. Speaking about her stint on the upcoming show, Tabby said: Tabby Stoecker says: “I am over the moon to be joining the cast of Strictly 2026. She has a pretty busy year ahead of her as she has also joined the upcoming series of BBC’s Gladiators too, and her name is believed to be Gold Star. A TV insider told us: “Signing with two of telly’s biggest shows is hugely prestigious. “It is virtually unprecedented. Most read in TV “It also means that she’ll be on our screens on a Saturday night for almost seven months in a row. “Strictly runs from September to December and Gladiators airs from January and can go on until March. “She’s likely to be invited on the Strictly tour in the new year too — so she’s going to be kept very busy and will see her profile soar.” Tabby was the British Schools Gymnastics Champion and an acrobat before changing careers and bagging a string of world championship medals and trophies over the past seven years. Chris Appleton, Delta Goodrem, Melanie Walters, Will Best, Dame Sarah Storey, Shaun Wright-Phillips, Bethany Antonia, Graeme Hall, Lawrence Robb, John Nellis will also be taking part this year. And new hosts Emma Willis, Josh Widdicombe and Johannes Radebe will be taking to our screens after Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman’s departure. Comment now
