US singer Olivia Rodrigo has announced a worldwide hunt for hundreds of limited-edition Lego vinyl records.The Grammy-winner, 23, achieved the biggest opening week of her career last month after the release of her third studio album – You Seem Pretty Sad For A Girl So In Love.Rodrigo revealed on Monday that 333 exclusive Lego vinyls based on her chart-topping music will be hidden in record stores across the world in the coming weeks.Olivia Rodrigo with one of the limited edition Lego vinylsThe event will see fans offered clues on social media to help them track down where the exclusive items have been hidden.It is taking place to commemorate Rodrigo’s collaboration with Lego Editions – which features a collection of five buildable items and minifigures inspired by her music, which will launch on August 1.Rodrigo revealed her upcoming worldwide vinyl hunt during an intimate event at Licorice Pizza Records in Los Angeles which was attended by 100 fans – nicknamed “Livvies”.The popstar said: “Getting to watch everyone explore the Lego Editions sets today and discover their favourite details was amazing.“We wanted to create something that felt different and something my fans could be part of.“Kicking it all off at Licorice Pizza made it even more memorable.
