Olivia Dean, Raye and Jade lead Mercury Prize nominees as Lily Allen snubbed

Olivia Dean's remarkable awards streak shows no signs of slowing, with the singer-songwriter landing a coveted Mercury Prize nomination just months after sweeping the biggest honours at the Brit and MOBO Awards.Dean will compete for the coveted £25,000 prize alongside fellow pop stars Raye, nominated for This Music May Contain Hope, and former Little Mix member JADE, whose debut solo album That's Showbiz Baby! also made the shortlist.Sir Paul McCartney, meanwhile, has received his first-ever Mercury Prize nomination at the age of 84 for The Boys of Dungeon Lane, his first studio album in five years.
