'When I spot an animal, I try to get within about 55 yards, and then I usually sit down on the ground and wait for the animal to come even closer on its own. 'This works very well in many cases, and that's usually how I take my photos. 'And of course, I wear camouflage clothing the whole time, stay calm, and don't move. A photographer captured the stunning moment a doe roe deer stopped to peer over a crop of wheat'Most of the time, the animals are eating when I take pictures of them.'However, Mr Determann explained it is currently mating season for roe deer.He added: 'That's why you often see some of them standing in the fields, looking for a mate. 'Mating season is in July and August. When they recognise me, they will run away. Most of the time not very fast, but these are wild animals and they are afraid to see humans.'
