An arriving officer talked to the caller. The cleaning crew arrived to find a door open and lights on in the warehouse. The woman wanted the police to clear the building before they entered. It turned out an employee was working in the facility. Suspicious situation, Silver Maple Court: On Sept. 12, a concerned Silver Maple Court resident called police after noticing their neighbor’s car door was open. The man knocked on their door but nobody answered. Also, the vehicle was disheveled. An arriving officer did talk to the neighbor, who didn’t know the door was open. After looking through the vehicle, nothing was reported missing. Aggressive dog owner, Royalton Road: On Sept. 12, a resident called police about an incident that took place the day before at a Royalton Road park. The caller said not only did a man have his dog off the leash but the canine lunged at her. She felt the dog owner was trying to intimidate her. There are no suspects. Police are investigating. Hungry possum, Westwood Drive: On Sept. 12, a concerned Westwood Drive resident called police after noticing “an animal” was inside of his garage can. The caller’s worry had to do with kids in the neighborhood. An arriving officer located a possum inside of the garbage can.
