Off the news: Rhoads, Au Belatti bow out after 20 years
Though it’s far from a record, 20 years of public service in Hawaii’s Legislature is a good chunk of time. So mahalo to departing Sen. Karl Rhoads (Nuuanu-Downtown-Iwilei), who’s retiring after two decades split between the Senate and House, and Rep. Della Au Belatti (Makiki-Punchbowl), leaving after 20 years to pursue a seat in Congress.
