‘Off Campus’ Gets Season 2 Release Date On Prime Video, Confirms Returning Cast

Great news for Off Campus fans — the hugely popular Prime Video college soap will be back sooner than many expected, with Season 2 set to premiere on April 28, 2027. That is less than a year after the May 13 release of Season 1, a very rare gap of under 12 months for a streaming series and one of the smallest on record. The quick turnaround for Off Campus, created by Louisa Levy based on author Elle Kennedy’s best-selling Off Campus Universe, was helped by the early Season 2 renewal in February, three months ahead of the Season 1 debut. It is set to meet a global demand for the series which, six months after Season 1 was released, remains among Prime Video’s Top 10 most viewed series worldwide, most recently at #6 for the week of Oct. 26. Off Campus‘ staying power followed a red-hot launch, with Season 1 reaching 36 million viewers through its first 12 days to mark the third most-viewed debut season of any series in Prime Video history overall and most-viewed ever among Women 18-34. Watch on Deadline Off Campus follows an elite ice hockey team, and the women in their lives, as they grapple with love, heartbreak, and self-discovery — forging deep friendships and enduring bonds while navigating the complexities that come with transitioning into adulthood. As announced in May, Season 2 will center on the romance between Allie Hayes (Mika Abdalla) and Dean Di Laurentis (Stephen Kalyn) from The Mistake book in Kennedy’s series. Stephen Kalyn & Mika Abdalla in ‘Off Campus’ Prime Video Along with the premiere date announcement, Amazon has confirmed the cast for Season 2. As expected, coming back is the entire Season 1 series regular cast except Josh Heuston who had a one-season arc as Hannah’s (Ella Bright) crush. Those returning include Abdalla, Kalyn, Season 1 couple Belmont Cameli (Garrett) and Bright (Hannah), as well as the other two hockey players who will get their own love stories, Antonio Cipriano (John Logan) and Jalen Thomas Brooks (John Tucker). They are joined by new series regular India Fowler who will play John Logan’s romantic interest Grace Ivers. From the Season 1 recurring cast, returning are Julia Sarah-Stone as Jules, John Logan’s younger nonbinary sibling who runs the Briar gossip account; Khobe Clarke as Beau Maxwell, Dean’s friend and brother of Joanna Maxwell; and Miles Gutierrez-Riley as Hannah’s friend Dexter. They are joined by new recurring cast member Philipa Soo as Scarlett, a theatre artist who is guest directing an original play at the college’s drama department. Guest starring in Season 2 are Charlie Evans, who was introduced late in Season 1 as Dean’s high school hockey rival Hunter Davenport, and new addition Shay Rudolph as Dean’s younger sister Summer. Among those not listed for Season 2 are Chad Willett, who played Coach Jensen, the head coach of the Briar Hawks, in Season 1; Steve Howey, who recurred as Garrett’s abusive father Phil; and Chelah Horsdal as Hannah’s mother Carrie. Levy co-showruns and executive produces Off Campus with Gina Fattore. Wyck Godfrey, Marty Bowen and James Seidman executive produce and Annika Patton co-executive produces for Temple Hill.
