Oasis to play Slane Castle in September next year

It shall be a sight to behold.”Oasis have played Slane twice, and first appeared in the Co Meath venue in July 1996, as the opening support act for REM and then returned as headliners in June 2009, with The Prodigy, The Blizzards and Kasabian as support acts.It was their last concert in Ireland before the band split later that year.Liam and Noel then returned to Ireland last year for the successful Live ’25 tour, and played two sold-out gigs in Dublin’s Croke Park.
