NOEL GALLAGHER has dropped the heaviest hint yet that OASIS are gearing up to announce their 2027 tour. I previously revealed how Noel, along with his brother LIAM, had lined up a series of dates next year, including shows at Knebworth. And when asked about it on talkSPORT Drive with ANDY GOLDSTEIN and DARREN BENT, Noel said: Smiling he said: “Oh, well then there must be something happening. So we’ve got to do something in the summer, right?” First up, the band will premiere their new documentary, Oasis: Don’t Look Back In Anger at the Venice Film Festival. And while it’s being billed as one of the most incredible music films of the past few decades, Noel said he wasn’t keen on seeing it again. “I won’t be sitting through it again, let’s put it that way,” Noel explained. When asked why, he added: “There’s a lot of people crying in it because we are so brilliant. “And at the end of it, I was knackered watching it. And I was like, well, I won’t be sitting through that again. It’s too much.” Most read in Showbiz I exclusively revealed back in July that the Gallagher brothers will be reuniting once again for a 12-date residency at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester. The iconic duo will be doing a record-breaking run of six concerts at Knebworth. An insider said: “Oasis’ schedule is booked. “It’s 12 nights at the Etihad over six weeks starting in June. The brothers ended their long-running feud to reunite last year Credit: AP They didn’t speak for 15 years Credit: Alamy “They will then play Knebworth six times over a three-week period in September. “Dates could be added but for now that’s the master plan.” Brothers Noel and Liam put their long-running feud behind them to re-form the band for the 41-date Oasis Live ’25 tour last year. The band had split up in 2009 amid rows. A source said: “Noel and Liam always planned for the tour to have a second run. “There were discussions about announcing [it] during the World Cup because of the connection between Wonderwall and the Three Lions in this tournament. “But they’ve settled on August. It’ll give the country something to shout about — whether we’re celebrating or commiserating.” The Etihad is the home of Manchester City, the team the brothers support. Oasis’ gigs at Knebworth will break the record for the most times an act has played there. Over their six gigs the band are set to play to 750,000 people. They performed two shows there in 1996 to 250,000 fans. Comment now
