Security arrangements are being made for the summit, which is scheduled to be held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi from September 11 to 13.The re-test is being conducted for English, Sociology and Commerce. The NTA has advised candidates to check their routes in advance, start early and allow extra time to reach their examination centres, as traffic restrictions on September 9 and 10 may result in longer-than-usual travel times.NTA ISSUE TRAVEL ADVISORYCandidates have been advised to:Plan their trip in advanceBeware of possible traffic restrictionsKeep sufficient buffer timeReach their examination centre earlyCandidates are also advised to adhere to the reporting time and other instructions mentioned on their admit cards. NTA's tweet WHY IS THERE A RE-TEST?The NTA conducted UGC-NET June 2026 from June 22 to 30 across 87 subjects for Junior Research Fellowship, assistant professor eligibility and admission to PhD programmes.The agency received complaints about errors in the English, Commerce and Sociology question papers and formed a committee to examine them.
