NRL legend Cherry-Evans reportedly in advanced talks to sign for Hull FC

Daly Cherry-Evans is reportedly in advanced talks to sign for Hull FC in what would be a shock switch to Super League for the 2027 season. Former Kangaroos half-back Cherry-Evans, widely considered one of the best playmakers in the history of the sport, is no stranger to shock moves, joining Sydney Roosters from Manly Sea Eagles for 2026 after 15 years with the club. It had been rumoured that Cherry-Evans, who played for Australia across nine years, could be retiring at the end of this season but reports suggest he may make the move to Super League as he turns 38.
