Notts County sign Cobblers midfielder Campbell

Notts County have signed Northampton Town midfielder Dean Campbell for an undisclosed fee.The 25-year-old Scot, who began his career at Aberdeen, has signed a three-year contract with the Magpies.He made 86 appearances during a two-year spell at Barrow before joining the Cobblers last year. Campbell has also had spells on loan at Kilmarnock and Stevenage.Notts director of football Richard Montague told the club website: "Dean is another well-rounded addition to our midfield, being an accomplished passer of the ball as well as being physically and athletically up to the level."We think our system complements his style and that he'll be able to play different roles within it."Dean has strong experience in League One and the SPL and it's great to have him on board."
