Northern Lights dance across UK sky on Halloween night

The Northern Lights might well be visible again on Sunday night but mainly in Scotland, Northern Ireland and Northern England.According to the Met Office Space Weather Centre, following a recent increase in solar wind activity, there is another chance of seeing the Northern Lights tonight, particularly across northern Scotland. However, a weather front moving into the far north may bring increasing cloud, potentially obscuring views in some areas. Where skies remain clear, the aurora could still put on a display, although activity is expected to be less intense than on Halloween night and should gradually ease from Monday onwards.
