Noel Gallagher has seemingly confirmed rumors that Oasis will tour in summer 2027. Speaking to Andy Goldstein on talkSPORT’s Drive about his beloved Manchester City, Gallagher initially refuted speculation that his band would be getting back together for another massive outing, citing his brother. “It’s Liam, isn’t it? He’s not into it. He’s not into Oasis anymore,” Gallagher joked. Goldstein then pointed out that Liam just quit social media, to which Noel responded, “Well, then there must be something happening… let’s put it this way: there’s no football tournament on next year, so we’ve got to do something in the summer, right?” It’s worth noting that there’s been much speculation that a return to Knebworth — the site of their famed 1996 concert — is in the cards after Oasis’ promoter secured an events permit for next summer. Oasis originally reunited for their first shows in 16 years back in 2025, and it was, as the Gallaghers say, biblical. They’re commemorating the run with a new documentary, Oasis: Don’t Look Back in Anger, which premieres at the Venice Film Festival this weekend and hits theaters on September 11th. Update: Oasis have released a new video teasing the tour. ⚽️ "Well… there's not a football tournament next summer." 👀 "So we've got to do something, right?"
