Noel Clarke charged with sexual offences including sexual assault, voyeurism and exposure

Noel Clarke has been charged with multiple sexual offences including sexual assault, voyeurism and exposure. The 50-year-old actor is best known for playing Mickey Smith in Doctor Who between 2005 and 2010, and taking on the role of Sam in 2006 British teen crime drama film Kidulthood. Metropolitan Police were given authority by the Crown Prosecution Service earlier today (Wednesday September 9) to charge him with two counts of sexual assault, three charges of voyeurism and one charge of exposure. The alleged incidents are said to concern five women, and have taken place between 2007 and 2016. They come following an investigation that began in 2025, and saw a man – then in his 40s – arrested. In a statement, the Crown Prosecution Service said (via BBC News): “Our prosecutors have worked to establish that there is sufficient evidence to bring this case to court and that it is in the public interest to do so.” Clarke has not yet responded publicly to the charges, and will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on October 21.
