Pakistan's interior minister, Mohsin Naqvi, is set to visit Tehran on Sunday to meet with senior Iranian officials. Spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei told state TV that there are no plans for Naqvi to deliver any specific message related to mediation efforts over the war with the US. "There are currently no signs of a message or proposal from the United States being conveyed," Baghaei said. He added that the main purpose of the trip is to follow up on previous agreements between the two countries.
