I don’t see any genuine change as long as any Dravidian party continues to exist in Tamil Nadu without reforming itself. Dynastic politics will not work," the IPS-turned politician said at India Today Tamil Nadu Roundtable in Chennai.Directly attacking Leader of Opposition Udhayanidhi Stalin, son of former Chief Minister MK Stalin, Annamalai said, "With the dynast, whoever the dynast may be, you can present him in gold-plated clothes or on a golden platform, but people are not going to accept him. The ground has shifted." He added, "You cannot lead this like a baton race from A to B to C. If the DMK is willing to go for a new leader, probably they have a chance."
