Nnamdi Madubuike did team drills at Ravens practice Thursday

Published September 3, 2026 04:48 PM Ravens head coach Jesse Minter said earlier this week that he does not see defensive tackle Nnamdi Madubuike “missing that many games” as he finishes his comeback from last season’s neck injury and a development on Thursday suggests he may not miss any games at all. Madubuike did team drills for the first time since returning to practice this summer. Minter said the team will continue to evaluate Madubuike’s condition heading into their Week 1 game against the Colts. “He’s progressing really well. He’s been in a few team reps and done some things,” Minter said, via the team’s website. “To his credit, we’ve wanted this to be a really smart and proactive approach to get him ready to play football after dealing with what he went through, also the surgery that he went through. We feel good about where it’s at today. It’s still a day-to-day process, but we certainly have seen some things that indicate great things ahead for Nnamdi.”Baltimore missed the pass rush Madubuike provides from the interior last year — he had 19.5 sacks over the 2023 and 2024 seasons — and his return to full practice activities is a good sign for its return to the arsenal in Minter’s first year with the team.
