Nivalis Nights: How To Get The Tier 1 Business Permit

Nivalis Nights has been released, so gather your ingredients, hire some staff members, and make sure to avoid the acid rain because it's time to run a restaurant in a Cyberpunk dystopia. In this game, you inherit a ramen shop and will need to build your business empire if you ever want to escape the mountain of debt you were left with. One way to do this is to open up more restaurants; however, to even achieve this, you will need to obtain a LICCY license (I promise I didn't make the name up). This allows you to own multiple businesses, and it can only be obtained through your friendly CorpSec rep, Agent Teleshko. Here is how to complete the Business Empire quest so you can open up your second resturaunt. Business Empire Walkthrough Talk To Agent Teleshko Your first step will be to speak to Agent Teleshko after he reports you for vagrancy. This only happens after you've met with him, so make sure to speak with the blonde-haired man with the weird eyepiece by Ramen Noir. After speaking with him the first time, progress time to the next day, and you'll be informed by your A.I. companion that he wants to talk to you again. Locate him in Meridian Market and talk to the agent to learn that he has a LICCY license he wants to give you. Well, it's a little more complicated than that, as you will be given control of an existing business in LowTown. Speak With Brooke Hazard After you finish speaking with Agent Teleshko, head to LowTown via fast travel on the map or the game's taxi system. When you arrive, follow your quest marker to a small food stall and talk to the man in the baseball hat standing out front of it. This is Brooke, the previous owner, whose business license was revoked, and the stall is now technically yours. Brooke, however, has a plan, and you will be given the choice to lie to Agent Teleshko to allow him to sell his license to wipe away his debt or just tell the CorpSec representative the truth. It doesn't matter which dialogue option you pick here, as you'll need to speak with Agent Teleshko another time to resolve this problem. Speak To Agent Teleshko Again Find Agent Teleshko a second time in Meridian Market, initiate a conversation, and tell him that you spoke to Brooke. While it may seem like you can take Brooke's side and lie to Agent Teleshko, he will reveal that he's had someone tailing you this entire time and knows you're lying. Unfortunately, you cannot actually fool Agent Teleshko into believing Brooke's plan to dupe him. Instead, you will want to choose the following dialogue options to actually improve your relationship with Agent Teleshko: "I spoke to Brooke" "I think so." "Brooke wasn't too happy." "So what now?" "Some chicanery..." "What now?" "Wait. I have to tell you something." "Brooke already sold the business license to his brother." "Yes. "Yeah, it was all a scam. He was trying to trick you. No need to thank me." Picking these dialogue options will raise your relationship affinity with Agent Teleshko, and you'll unlock the Cheeseburger Recipe. Now return to Brooke to give him the bad news and get the Tier 1 Business Permit. Ava will then contact you and offer four choices of restaurants for you to take over, along with advising that you move Banor into an advisory role. The four restaurants you can pick from are Yakitori (Helix Monumental), Boat Hanger (The Stacks), Sake Bar (Central Canyon), or the Yummy Canteen (Industrial District). Which one you decide to buy is entirely up to you; however, you won't be able to access most of the locations where these establishments are located. While the Stacks can be unlocked via the Seafaring quest, the rest will take more time. Additionally, the price to actually purchase and operate your next restaurant is pretty high, so I don't recommend expanding until your ramen shop has made quite a bit of money. Learning to balance spending, pricing your menu, and when to purchase (or grow) ingredients will take time, and quickly opening a second shop can lose you way more money if you're not ready! When you want to actually rent the location, head towards the restaurant and look for a small digital screen with a key icon on it. Interact with this to enter the menu, where you can see how much money in assets the location has along with the price to purchase it!
