As the holidays draw near, Nintendo has some fun treats in store for fans of the company's beloved franchises. There are, of course, plenty of highly anticipated games coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 this holiday season, including the remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, the expanded Switch 2 version of Pikmin 4, the revitalization of a classic with Switch Sports Resort, and more. But aside from video games, Nintendo also has a whole lot of non-game goodies hitting virtual and digital shelves in the coming months. Nintendo fans might want to start saving now, because the company has cooked up merch, toys, and apparel for every Nintendo fan in the family (or, of course, yourself). SceenRant got to attend the 2026 Nintendo Holiday Showcase for a sneak peek at some of the fun things heading our way over the holidays. Decorate Your Home With Zelda Merch The Legend of Zelda dominated the show floor at the holiday showcase this year. This is no surprise, as the highly anticipated The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake launches for the Switch 2 on November 5. In addition to the coming game, Nintendo has many different kinds of merch for Zelda fans to deck out their homes this holiday. On display was a mix of items that are already out to purchase on the Nintendo store, and some that will arrive soon for fans to snag, from the whimsical to the awesome. A trio of couch cushions are up for grabs right now: a plush triforce, heart container, and absolutely adorable and huggable Korok. There are several other great items to be on the lookout for. Also on display were statuettes of Link, vinyl OSTs of recent Zelda games, the Link vs Ganon LEGO set, the Zelda: OoT Switch 2 console and carrying case, as well as the Young Link and Young Zelda amiibo scheduled to arrive next year. The centerpiece was a stunning chess board with the different pieces represented by Zelda characters in gold and silver. Super Mario, Pokémon Pokopia, And Beyond Several other Nintendo franchises also made an appearance at the showcase. Of course, there were many Super Mario goodies, including the (already available) Crocs x Super Mario collaboration clogs, which consistently drew praise for the Nintendo representative who was rocking the Peach version at the event. Besides these, there were also children's clothing, toys, plushies, and books featuing Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, and the rest of the crew. There's something for the adult fans too, like clothing (the Mario Kart bomber jacket was another popular item), a Donkey Kong track set, themed controller and case, some decor pieces, and more. My personal favorite were the Pokémon Pokopia plushies, which are already available on the Pokémon Center website, including the human form of the game's Ditto protagonist, a charming plush of Professor Tangrowth, a napping green Mosslax, and some impostor Ditto Pokémon. Other merch on view included Animal Crossing Switch 2 controller, headphones, and pencil case (among other items), as well as Pikmin bag, hat, vases, and much more. In other words, it's going to be a good holiday season for Nintendo fans. Some Nintendo Items Only Available In-Store Finally, there's some good and bad news for Yoshi and Mario Kart World fans: the previously Tokyo exclusive Yoshi dining set is coming to the US. Unfortunately, the items will only be available as in-store exclusives for New York City and San Francisco residents. The diner-style Yoshi items include a tray, plates, milkshake cup, and cutlery, and will only be available to purchase at the Nintendo stores in NYC and San Francisco. The Yoshi egg teapot and cup set—previously unavailable in the US—is also coming to the West. This set includes a teapot, cup, tea leaf strainer, and small plate, which come together to form a complete green-spotted Yoshi egg. Sadly, you'll only be able to buy these items in-person, so they'll remain relatively exclusive. The Nintendo Holiday Showcase was a sneak preview of what's to come and highlight of the currently available merchandise for Nintendo fans. With some very exciting games coming out soon, Now's the time to start saving up for the holiday season shopping spree.
