The MAX XXL has a 150-ounce vessel, holds more than twice as much as the original SLUSHi and can make 12 or more servings in a single batch. And now, it’s on sale for more than $100 off at Amazon not long after its launch.This week, Amazon’s Ninja SLUSHi MAX Smart Frozen Drink Maker on sale for $369 as a limited-time deal. The original Ninja SLUSHi has an 88-ounce vessel with a 64-ounce maximum liquid capacity, while the SLUSHi MAX XXL has a 150-ounce vessel with a 112-ounce maximum liquid fill. Ninja says the larger model can make 12 or more servings per batch.The SLUSHi MAX also uses RapidChill Pro technology to turn liquid ingredients into frozen drinks without ice or a blender. Ninja says the updated system can make slushies twice as fast as the original model.Another addition is SlushAssist technology, which senses ingredients, detects the freezing point and automatically adjusts the temperature for the recipe. There are six preset programs and 15 temperature settings for adjusting the consistency of frozen drinks.Those presets cover Slush, Frozen Juice, Spiked, Spiked Max and Milkshake recipes, with the MAX also designed to handle higher-alcohol frozen cocktails containing up to 20% alcohol.The larger capacity makes the SLUSHi MAX particularly useful for parties, cookouts and other gatherings where making several individual batches with the smaller machine could get tedious.Amazon shoppers appear to like the upgrade so far. The SLUSHi MAX has a 4.7-star rating, with 88% of its more than 600 ratings giving the machine five stars.
