Double Tap to ZoomSneakersNike’s Structure Plus Is a Very Good-Looking Running ShoeThere’s a lot going on with these, but somehow it all works. Gray, black and a hit of yellow give the Nike Structure Plus SP that proper old-school running shoe look, while the chunky sole brings it firmly into 2026.The Structure Plus is built as a stability running shoe, but you don’t need to be training for a marathon to appreciate what Nike has done here. It’s got the sort of exaggerated shape that has made running shoes such a big part of everyday wardrobes, without looking like it was designed purely for the lifestyle crowd.Underneath, Nike has stacked responsive ZoomX foam over ReactX foam, giving the shoe plenty of cushioning while a midfoot support system helps keep things stable. There’s also a secure mesh upper, reflective details and a dual-rubber outsole, so this is still very much a running shoe first.Visually, though, it has plenty going for it beyond the pavement. The grey base keeps things easy, the black adds some definition and that little flash of Varsity Maize stops the whole thing from getting too sensible.Your Highsnobiety privacy settings have blocked this Instagram post.Nike has made a serious running shoe that happens to just as good.
