Cave is reviving “Conversations With Nick Cave: An Evening of Talk and Music” after it proved popular in 2019. The one-man shows will feature Cave answering unvetted questions from the audience and performing his songs accompanied by piano. “Years ago, in a peculiar state of mind, I travelled across the US, stepped onto stages in different cities, and fielded questions from the audience,” Cave said in a press release. “It was a strange, almost desperate idea, but those nights became deeply healing for me. I hope the audience felt the same.” The tour is an extension of Cave’s The Red Hand Files project, started in 2018, in which people can submit questions directly to him, and the musician answers them. Cave’s latest release was 2025’s Live God, which captured song from his 2024 and 2025 tour with The Bad Seeds as they supported their album Wild God. And if you didn’t know, Cave is one of Randy Blythe’s favorite vocalists.
