NFL adds Tony Boselli to competition committee

Published August 24, 2026 05:23 PM Jaguars Executive V.P. of Football Operations Tony Boselli is the newest member of the NFL’s competition committee.Boselli, a Hall of Fame offensive tackle, is one of 12 members of the committee, which reviews issues such as playing rules, roster rules, game-day operations and player safety. The competition committee is very influential within the league, although rule changes are ultimately made by a vote of the owners, and the competition committee’s recommendations are not always followed.The co-chairmen of the competition committee are former Falcons CEO Rich McKay and Cowboys CEO Stephen Jones.In addition to Boselli, the other members of the committee are Bengals Executive V.P. Katie Blackburn, Giants owner John Mara, 49ers GM John Lynch, Buccaneers coach Todd Bowles, Rams coach Sean McVay, Vikings coach Kevin O’Connell, Broncos coach Sean Payton, Texans coach DeMeco Ryans and Patriots coach Mike Vrabel.
