Next year’s iPhone Pro redesign gets new update from leaker

Apple reportedly has a big redesign coming to next year’s iPhone Pro models, timed for the iPhone’s 20th anniversary. The latest leak about the design reveals that the dream of a cutout-free display may remain a dream for now. New iPhone Pro display will reportedly include holes for Dynamic Island, won’t be cutout-free Yesterday Weibo leaker Digital Chat Station outlined three new iPhone models coming in early 2027: iPhone 18e, iPhone 18, and iPhone Air 2. His main focus was on the iPhone 18, which is expected to get two Pro-inspired upgrades. In a follow-up post though, replying to another Weibo user’s question, the leaker addressed a key design question regarding next fall’s iPhone Pro models. Apple is rumored to be working on a big redesign timed for the iPhone’s 20th anniversary. It will reportedly feature a quad-curved display that wraps around the edges of the device for a visually bezel-free look. Early rumors indicated the device could also drop the Dynamic Island for a truly all-glass display, with no cutouts. But according to Digital Chat Station, that’s not happening after all. After being asked if the ‘iPhone 20 Pro Max’ will have a Dynamic Island still, or feature a hole-free display, the leaker confirmed the display will still have holes. Thus, it will retain the Dynamic Island cutout. It’s unclear if the Dynamic Island will be the same size as that of iPhone 18 Pro, but since the device is expected to have Face ID, that’s highly likely.
