Next stop, Bharat Mandapam: Ministers, CMs board one bus for BRICS gala dinner

Chief Ministers and Union ministers took a special bus from Parliament to Bharat Mandapam on Saturday to attend Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dinner for BRICS leaders. The journey offered an unusually informal glimpse of the political leadership, with ministers and Chief Ministers travelling together and chatting with one another on the way to the venue. Among those seen travelling together were Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Union ministers including Kiran Rijiju, Nirmala Sitharaman, Arjun Ram Meghwal and Ashwini Vaishnaw were also part of the bus journey. Rekha Gupta was seen chatting with Devendra Fadnavis and Ashwini Vaishnaw as the leaders made their way to Bharat Mandapam. The bus ride came as the first day of the 18th BRICS Summit drew to a close, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi hosting a dinner for the BRICS leaders at Bharat Mandapam.
