News24 | Trump seeks meeting with Iran’s injured supreme leader amid ceasefire crisis

Trump's unusual proposal to meet with Iran's injured supreme leader Mojtaba Khamenei amid escalating tensions highlights the fragile state of the ceasefire between Washington and Tehran. As both sides accuse each other of ceasefire violations, this unprecedented outreach underscores the severity of the crisis and the lengths to which Trump is willing to go to address it. This move could either signal a desperate attempt to de-escalate or reflect deeper, possibly misguided, diplomatic strategies that could have significant implications for regional and global stability.
