Newcastle ‘make Premier League star’s brother top target to replace Bruno Guimaraes’ as Arsenal close in on transfer

NEWCASTLE have reportedly identified Felix Nmecha as their preferred replacement for Bruno Guimaraes. The Magpies are set to lose their captain before the new Premier League season kicks off, with Arsenal poised to sign him. And French outlet L’Equipe reports that Nmecha is the No1 target. The midfielder, who appeared for Germany at the World Cup earlier this summer, is the younger brother of Leeds United forward Lukas Nmecha. He currently plays for Borussia Dortmund, having joined from Wolfsburg three years ago. Prior to his time in Germany, Nmecha graduated from Manchester City‘s academy and made three first team appearances. It has not yet been disclosed how much Newcastle would have to pay to sign the 25-year-old. However, the Magpies have allegedly been informed about Dortmund’s main demands.
