‘New Voice host’ Stacey Solomon signs up for a THIRD huge ITV show after hit BGT guest appearance

SHE may have notched up a string of hit shows on the BBC but Stacey Solomon’s latest gig suggests she is now the darling of ITV too. I can reveal that the former X Factor star, who shot to fame on the ITV talent show in 2009, is returning to the fold as one of the celebrity “guessers” on The Masked Singer. A TV insider said: “This comes just months after she appeared as a guest judge on Britain’s Got Talent. Sign up for the TV newsletter Thank you! “Unconfirmed reports are that she’ll also be the new co-host of The Voice with Alesha Dixon. “That’s three of ITV’s biggest Saturday night entertainment shows – which is no mean feat for anybody. “The Masked Singer’s producers reckon she’ll bring the fun factor to the show. “Plus she knows a thing or two about singing from her X Factor days.” Stacey said: “I’m so excited to be joining Alan Carr’s team on The Masked Singer. Me and my family are huge fans of the show. I can’t wait to start sleuthing and hopefully unmask a few more superstars.” The addition of Alan’s rival panel of guessers on The Masked Singer — who will be known as the Wild Cards — was revealed earlier this year, although ITV has yet to confirm who else will be joining Stacey. Downton Abbey beauty Jessica Brown Findlay, who played Lady Sybil Crawley in the period drama, and Glee’s Dianna Agron join the fifth and final series of the filthy finance hit.
