Anyone would be happy to get this in their Christmas stocking (Nintendo) If you’re yet to grab a Switch 2, or are looking into it as a Christmas gift, Nintendo’s newest bundle may be its best offer yet. Even with Nintendo raising the price of the Switch 2 console from £359.99 to £419.99 at the beginning of September, it’s still a more affordable option than either the PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X, which at their cheapest go for £519.99 and £619.99, respectively. Still, needing to spend over £400 for a new console can be off-putting for some, but if you’re at all tempted to get a Switch 2 or are looking to buy it for a relative for Christmas, Nintendo has released a new, rather enticing bundle. This bundle includes not just the Switch 2 but a digital copy of the excellent Mario Kart World, a three-month subscription for Nintendo Switch Online, a Switch 2 camera, and a 256GB microSD card for £459.99. Normally, buying all of those individually would set you back £593.95, so you’re saving about £134 with the bundle. Or, to put it another way, you’re only paying £40 extra for the game, the online subscription, the camera, and the SD card. The normal Mario Kart World bundle, which only includes the console, the game, and online subscription, is the same price so you may as well get the newer option if only for the SD card that provides extra storage space. Nintendo quietly dropped the bundle on its UK store yesterday, on October 29, so it should still be freshly available. Although we’d recommend snapping it up ASAP. You don’t want to wait till December and then find it’s sold out, like so many previous bundles. Alternatively, there is a separate bundle that has almost the exact same offer, only instead of Mario Kart World, it comes with Nintendo Switch Sports Resort. It’s also £10 cheaper at £449.99. In case you’re wondering, neither bundle lets you grab the fancy new Legend Of Zelda themed Switch 2 released for the franchise’s 40th anniversary. In fact, at the time of writing, it’s completely sold out despite only being released yesterday. It will be interesting to see if there’s a serious boost in Switch 2 sales for the final quarter of the year, that’s spurred by the launch of the remake of The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time, Nintendo’s big Christmas game and its biggest exclusive of 2026. Aside from that, all Nintendo has left for the next two months are Switch 2 upgrades for Pikmin 4 and Xenoblade Chronicles 3, which do include brand new content and aren’t just simple performance updates. FromSoftware’s new multiplayer game, The Duskbloods, was originally meant to be out before the end of the year, but it’s now been delayed until 2027. The Duskbloods delay was hardly surprising (Nintendo) Email gamecentral@metro.co.uk, leave a comment below, follow us on Twitter.
