It follows Sam Hanna, with LL Cool J reprising his role from NCIS: Los Angeles and NCIS: Hawaii. The debut episode opens with Hanna returning to his hometown of New York for a new mission that's disrupted by the death of a friend. But the franchise vet won't be alone. He'll be joined by Assistant Special Agent-In-Charge Robyn Wells (Jennifer Beals), whom he turns to for permission to look into his friend's death. He'll also be accompanied by a new partner, Nick, who is played by Scott Cann. Now, as the New York offshoot preps for a premiere on October 6, it's adding an NCIS original. Deadline reports that Brian Dietzen, who plays Jimmy Palmer, will appear in the upcoming premiere episode of NCIS: New York.
